Full Scale Founders Is Giving Away $50,000.00 Tech Resources

Full Scale Founders to give away $50K tech resources in Pure Pitch Rally

Full Scale founders Matt DeCoursey and Matt Watson will award $50,000 worth of software development resources to two chosen participants from the Pure Pitch Rally during Techweek Kansas City.

This $50,000 worth of resources will be provided by DeCoursey and Watson’s Full Scale, a rapidly growing software development team that specializes in finding high-skilled talents and offers enterprise solutions for startups.

“That 25-grand in development and business resources [for each participant] is roughly a couple of developers for three months,” said Watson in an episode of Startup Hustle’s, a KC based podcast, also founded by him and DeCoursey.

“Those winners are going to have access on some other things too, from Creative Design, SEO, and Testing. We’re basically giving them the ability to have access [to services] and that goes a long way,” added DeCoursey.

“Good ideas in startups move faster when they’re supported by successful business people in the community,” said DeCoursey. The business duo’s philanthropic deeds are a way for them to give back to the startup community given their long history and experience as entrepreneurs. According to DeCoursey, he met Watson when he was seeking entrepreneur stories for his best-selling book, “Million Dollar Bedroom”, and had since then formed a successful partnership with him overseeing each other’s companies, GigaBook and Stackify.

Both entrepreneurs have been vocal about their passion to help startups succeed.

“They’re not all going to survive. They’re not all going to be billion-dollar companies or anything, but I’m sure some of them will go on and be successful,” Watson said. “Hopefully we can pick a couple and make a big impact for them, and really help them get some resources and move their companies forward.”

The Pure Pitch Rally is a private gathering in Kansas City that will be attended by hundreds of investors and entrepreneurs who will also be giving away $1000 to their chosen participants. Eight chosen participants will be competing for $80,000 cash prize and $500,000 in Amazon AWS Activate credits. According to the Startup Hustle duo, the companies participating this year were assessed by a steering committee that narrowed down over 30 applicants to only eight competitors.

One of the competitors that stood out this year is 10 year-old innovator Julia Luetje, a Barlow School student from Leawood who won Frito-Lay’s $250,000 Dreamvention grand prize for her noise-reduction invention. The young inventor created a device that can help people sleep through the loud sounds of extreme weather. What started out as a simple school project won her Frito-Lay’s $250,000 Dreamvention grand prize. In the Pure Pitch Rally, she will be competing against other seasoned entrepreneurs like Donald Hawkins, founder of the white label, SaaS platform Citysmart and multiple other startups.

“Full Scale could be the single most important sponsor to our Pure Pitch Rally,” Fenaroli said. “Each winner needs tech scale up and my friends Matt DeCoursey and Matt Watson have the global genius talent to leverage our cash and their brains. This KC company is one of the gems for mission social entrepreneurism.”
